Redwood Region RISE In-Person Meeting

At the end of last month, we gathered at the Tish Non Community Center, hosted by the Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria, for two productive days of collaboration and planning. Over 150 representatives from a variety of organizations met on April 29th and the 30th to forge a path toward a brighter future for our region.

Throughout the sessions, participants tackled key issues affecting sectors like agriculture, healthcare, and renewable energy. We discussed everything from the survival of local businesses to initiatives for a resilient workforce and sustainable practices.

A standout feature was the Data Walk, which combined personal stories with research to paint a detailed picture of our community's demographics and needs. The gathering concluded with a Project Matchmaking Fair, sparking discussions on new project ideas and fostering potential collaborations.

We’re also excited to share that the Voting Members have officially approved a new vision statement for Redwood Region RISE:

"The Redwood Region is a healing place where everyone belongs, with stable jobs, accessible healthcare, and a thriving natural environment. Together, we work towards a future where anyone can thrive."

These two days were a testament to the power of community and the shared vision we hold.
