This year’s theme, 'Together Towards Tomorrow,' is centered on fostering a future-ready economy across Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Trinity, Mendocino Counties, and adjacent tribal lands. This summit is not just about today’s challenges but is designed to support the careers of the next generation of employees and entrepreneurs who will lead our rural communities into a thriving future.

Keynote Speakers

We have an exciting lineup of Keynote speakers this year, summit attendees will get to hear from: 

  • Florence Parks, the Executive Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters has over 30 years of experience in youth development to design and support mentoring initiatives across the state. She will inspire the room by talking about Big Futures and the long-term impact of mentoring. 

  • A favorite presenter, Dr. Robert Eyler, economist and professor at Sonoma State University, is returning to the summit to provide insights into the economic foundation of our region. 

  • Tony Pipa, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, will share his vision for modernizing rural policy in America. 

  • Bode Gower, youth advocate, Ukiah High School Senior and Founder of the Northern California Youth Policy Coalition (NCYPC) will present at the Leadership Breakfast on Friday.
